The New York Giants have signed rookie first-round pick running back Saquon Barkley to a contract.

The No. 2 overall selection from Penn State rushed for 3 Authentic Brian Urlacher Jersey ,843 yards and 43 touchdowns and caught 102 passes, eight for scores, in three seasons with the Nittany Lions. He had 5,538 total yards on 791 touches for averages of 7.0 yards per play and 145.7 yards per game.

Barkley joins four draft choices who had previously signed: guard Will Hernandez of UTEP (second round) Anthony Miller Jersey , outside linebacker Lorenzo Carter of Georgia (third round), defensive tackle B.J. Hill of North Carolina State (third round), and quarterback Kyle Lauletta of Richmond (fourth round).

Defensive tackle RJ McIntosh, a fifth-rounder Landon Collins Jersey Youth , also signed later in the day, completing the team’s draft class.

Coach Pat Shurmur will hold his first practice Monday with the team’s rookies, quarterbacks and selected veterans.

Police in Massachusetts have arrested a man in connection with a burglary at New England Patriots player Rob Gronkowski’s home while he was at the Super Bowl.

Foxborough police say 31-year-old Anthony Almeida was charged Friday with breaking and entering, receiving stolen property and malicious destruction of property after his home in Randolph was searched.

Gronkowski’s home in Foxborough was burglarized in February while his team was in Minnesota to play against the Philadelphia Eagles. The tight end’s roommates also reported items stolen. Authorities have recovered an Apple watch Tremaine Edmunds Jersey Youth , a Rolex watch and some rare coins so far.

Police say they’re seeking two other suspects: 26-year-old Shayne Denn, of Tewksbury, and 28-year-old Eric Tyrrell, of Foxborough.

Almeida was arraigned Friday. It’s unclear whether he’s represented by an attorney.
