RIGA Semyon Varlamov Womens Jersey , June 5 (Xinhua) -- The Latvian Security Police and Corruption Prevention Bureau have been alerted to several hundred violations observed during the municipal elections that took place in Latvia last weekend, the law enforcement agencies informed on Monday.
Representatives of the Security Police said that more than 40 reports about suspected violations came in last Saturday as voters went to the polls to elect their local and regional governments.
Most of the more than 100 alleged violations reported to the Security Police have already proved baseless, but others are being investigated or forwarded to other law enforcement agencies.
The Security Police have opened two criminal investigations over violations of election rules, but nobody has been detained so far.
The Latvian Corruption Prevention Bureau Patrick Roy Womens Jersey , meanwhile, has received more than 300 reports from people about possible breaches on the day of elections and in the run-up to the polls, LETA news agency reported citing representatives of the anti-corruption bureau.
The anti-corruption bureau has started more than 150 probes based on these reports.
