Sasha Rearick is stepping down from his role as the U.S. men’s Alpine ski coach to lead the development side in a restructuring move by the organization.

U.S. Ski & Snowboard announced the change Wednesday. A men’s coach will be named later.

The rearrangement comes on the heels of the Pyeongchang Games Lamar Miller Jersey , where the men’s side didn’t earn an Olympic medal for the first time since 1998. The men’s squad was plagued by injuries and had one podium finish during the 2017-18 World Cup season.

Rearick has spent the last decade leading the team. In his new role, he will work with athletes, coaches and clubs. He also is part of the organization’s ”Project 26” initiative Peyton Manning Jersey , which examines national team development with an eye toward the 2022 and `26 Winter Games.

Former North Carolina defensive tackle Dee Hardison, a member of the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame who played 11 seasons in the National Football League, has died. He was 61.

Tim Butler of Butler & Son Funeral Home in Clinton confirmed that Hardison died on Saturday at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill Greg Zuerlein Jersey , where he had been hospitalized for several weeks.

Hardison was named to The Associated Press all-America first team in 1977. He was co-captain of the 1977 team that went 8-3-1, won the Atlantic Coast Conference title and finished ranked 17th after losing to Nebraska, 21-17 Peyton Manning Jersey , in the Liberty Bowl.

Hardison was a second-round draft pick of the Buffalo Bills in 1978 and played there for three seasons. He spent five seasons with the New York Giants, two with the San Diego Chargers and a year with the Kansas City Chiefs before retiring after the 1989 season.
