A year adidas busenitz boost before the Air Jordan 1 (much less Air Jordan 2011) and a quarter-century before the Nike Zoom Kobe VII System, adidas introduced the peg system cushioning platform on a variety of its 1984 releases. Models like the LA Trainer and Kegler Super featured removable pegs that allow the wearer to switch them around for optimal comfort, and now the last model from 84 s three pegs-keteers is finally ready for a proper retro treatment. And as you look closely at the range of designs depicted in more photos after the jump, you ll see that the Opening Ceremony x adidas Orignials capsule offers J.Scott some serious competition, both in terms of footwear and apparel offerings. Unfortunately, he won t have the Olympics to redeem himself, because he ll be missing out due to injury, but this patriotic red, white, and blue make-up of the adidas adiPower Howard 3 is what he could ve been wearing while swatting lay-ups and throwing down monster two-handers against the rest of the world. Another look at the USA colorway of Howard s third three-striper below, so take a gander and let us know where you think Dwight will ultimately land.
