Panthers put Daryl Williams on IR Womens Donte Jackson Jersey , sign tackle Chris Clark The Panthers have decided to place their starting right tackle on injured reserve as he recovers from an impending knee surgery. The team has signed Chris Clark to replace him on the roster.Daryl Williams made a surprising return to the field on Sunday roughly five weeks after tearing his MCL and dislocating his knee cap in training camp. Unfortunately that return was short lived as he was carted off the field with an injury to that same knee. Though head coach Ron Rivera has said this a different injury from Williams’ first, it’s hard not to assume the two injuries are closely related. To fill the vacant roster spot left by Williams, the Panthers broke from their modus operandi and sought help from the veteran market. Chris Clark has played eight NFL seasons with the Broncos and Texans, appearing in 106 games and starting 53. He has experience at both tackle spots, so surely it won’t be long before he’s named the starter at right tackle for the Panthers. Week Seven of the 2018 NFL season kicked off on Thursday with a Broncos win and it continues with 12 more games on Sunday, which means that the 24 teams in those games submitted their final injury reports of the week on Friday.Questionable players are uncertain to play, doubtful players are unlikely to play and out should be self-explanatory. Players who are on active rosters and don鈥檛 appear below should be considered healthy enough to play barring any announcements on Saturday.
