In 2014, Dumervil set the Ravens franchise record for most the sacks in a season with a whopping 17, a sack total he previously reached in 2009 with the Broncos. Dumervil and Terrell Suggs were among the league’s best pass rushing duo that year, combining for the most sacks in the league among two players and garnering the nickname “Doom and Sizzle.” After two down years with only six sacks in 2015 and three in 2016, Baltimore released Dumervil following the 2016 season. He then signed with San Francisco for his final year, and he recorded 6.5 sacks. Part of the issue with him this season is a lack of volume, and Marty Morninwheg would be smart to notice the fact that the few times he got the ball against the Bengals he made big plays to keep Baltimore’s offense rolling. If Marty does, then he’ll surely be more willing to hand it off to the bellcow, especially given that the Ravens tackles face an uphill battle in pass protection against Von Miller and Bradley Chubb. Green, and while Sanders probably won’t have that type of performance, he could certainly put up 10-15 plus. I wouldn’t expect it to continue as the Ravens run defense has proven stout again this year.While Lindsay can still have a great rookie year, I’m predicting he’ll hit his first speed bump towards one against Baltimore. He’s a definite sit even though he’s worth hanging onto in the long term.
