Former Ravens linebacker Elvis Dumervil retires After 12 years in the NFL http://www.ravenscheapstores.com/patrick-onwuasor-jersey-cheap , former Broncos, Ravens and 49ers linebacker Elvis Dumervil announced his retirement today.Dumervil spent his first seven seasons with Denver after being drafted out of Louisville in the fourth round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He joined Baltimore in 2013, signing a five-year deal worth $35 million. In 2014, Dumervil set the Ravens franchise record for most the sacks in a season with a whopping 17, a sack total he previously reached in 2009 with the Broncos. Dumervil and Terrell Suggs were among the league’s best pass rushing duo that year, combining for the most sacks in the league among two players and garnering the nickname “Doom and Sizzle.” After two down years with only six sacks in 2015 and three in 2016, Baltimore released Dumervil following the 2016 season. He then signed with San Francisco for his final year, and he recorded 6.5 sacks. The 49ers declined to pick up the 2018 option for Dumervil’s contract http://www.baltimoreravensteamauthentic.com/james-hurst-jersey , leading him to become a free agent.Dumervil made five Pro Bowl appearances and finished his career with an astounding 105.5 sacks, 365 total tackles, 23 forced fumbles, 13 fumble recoveries and one interception. 26 of those sacks and two of his Pro Bowls came during his tenure in Baltimore. Aside from his outstanding success on the field, Dumervil was also a large part of every community he went to, raising awareness, money and lending a helping hand. Dumervil worked with New Story charity in 2016, helping to build 58 homes for families in Haiti http://www.baltimoreravensteamauthentic.com/sam-koch-jersey , his parents’ native country. After a long and productive career, Dumervil will go down as one of the best pass rushers of his generation. The 2-0 Denver Broncos will head into Baltimore on Sunday to take on the Ravens who sit at 1-1 after dropping their second game to the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday Night Football. This figures to be one of the more hotly contested matchups of week 3 as the Broncos have been more impressive than some speculated prior to the season and the Ravens came back to Earth a little bit in week 2 after their opening week thrashing of the hapless Buffalo Bills. As always, there’ll be a good amount of players to keep an eye on for your fantasy team here so be sure to consider the below starts and sits for the game if you’re in need:Start: RB Alex CollinsPhoto by Andy Lyons/Getty ImagesCollins has gotten off to a relatively slow start to 2018 after proving to be a savvy pickup on the waiver wire last year coming off of Baltimore’s practice squad. Part of the issue with him this season is a lack of volume, and Marty Morninwheg would be smart to notice the fact that the few times he got the ball against the Bengals he made big plays to keep Baltimore’s offense rolling. If Marty does, then he’ll surely be more willing to hand it off to the bellcow, especially given that the Ravens tackles face an uphill battle in pass protection against Von Miller and Bradley Chubb. Collins is due for a big one and in the return home after a long rest, I expect him to have it against Denver.Sit: WR Michael CrabtreePhoto by Patrick Smith/Getty ImagesCrabtree has pretty much been the guy the Ravens wanted him to be when they brought him in; a sure handed chain mover who Joe Flacco can look to in money situations. Unfortunately that doesn’t quite translate to a big time fantasy starter, especially considering some of the other talent to give the ball to on offense.Since I’m expecting some struggles in the pass game this week http://www.ravensauthorizedshops.com/authentic-marshal-yanda-jersey , I’d say to stay away from the Ravens number one wideout against the Broncos on Sunday. He’s worth hanging onto as a spot flex option but isn’t the best play for this week.Start: WR Emmanuel SandersPhoto by Justin Edmonds/Getty ImagesSanders has gotten off to a very nice start to 2018, and with the teeth of Baltimore’s defense mainly in the front, he could have another good game against them this week. That and Case Keenum’s ability to produce (as well as give away) big plays should concern the Ravens coaching staff. The lack of speed on the back end of Baltimore’s defense showed big time against A.J. Green, and while Sanders probably won’t have that type of performance, he could certainly put up 10-15 plus. This is especially the case as Jimmy Smith will remain sidelined in this one.Sit: RB Phillip LindsayPhoto by Matthew Stockman/Getty ImagesSpeaking of hot starts, Lindsay is the toast of the NFL after making the team as an undrafted free agent and stealing the spotlight from fellow rookie Royce Freeman who many predicted would have the success Lindsay is now. I wouldn’t expect it to continue as the Ravens run defense has proven stout again this year. While Lindsay can still have a great rookie year, I’m predicting he’ll hit his first speed bump towards one against Baltimore. He’s a definite sit even though he’s worth hanging onto in the long term.
