Amari Cooper over/unders for yards https://www.dallascowboysfanshop.com/Michael-Gallup-Jersey , receptions, and touchdowns are out... what would you take? Amari Cooper’s first season with the Dallas Cowboys is going to be a little over half of one, and he’ll be expected to do a whole lot in that time span.Jerry Jones and Co. spent a first-round pick to acquire Cooper from the Oakland Raiders and you don’t do that unless you believe highly in the potential return. The Cowboys are on a bye this week and they’ll pick up back up on November 5th (Jason Witten’s return with Monday Night Football) against the Tennessee Titans... and the Amari show will be on.What is the world expecting of Cooper this season? The popular sports book Bovada has released a few over/under propositions for Amari Cooper’s shortened 2018 season with the Dallas Cowboys. Remember that we’re talking about nine games here and that the Cowboys have struggled in the passing game. People say different things about the desert, and there’s always that moment where we wonder how they can be so precise with their calculations. Whatever you think of them here’s the neighborhood they think Amari Cooper is going to live in.Amari Cooper Over/Unders for Weeks 9 through 17To reach these numbers Cooper would have to average 57.5 yards per game and 4.5 receptions per game. These definitely feel reachable for a receiver of Cooper’s perceived talents, but to be fair the Cowboys have struggled so mightily through the air that they felt the need to go get him. The most curious number here is definitely the touchdown mark. Three touchdowns in nine games certainly seems doable but again, in the interest of fairness, the current Cowboys leaders in that category are Tavon Austin and Cole Beasley who each have two after seven games from the team.Expectations are a funny thing and for most people they won’t be met in terms of giving up a first-round draft pick unless Cooper outperforms these numbers. What do you think, though? Will Amari Cooper beat them? Does it matter if he does? The Dallas Cowboys were famous for their Triplets back in the day. Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith and Michael Irvin combined to take the Cowboys to highest of highs. Ever since, the Cowboys have been trying to get back there. He only had 226 yards passing and one touchdown. He did have almost a 67% completion rate, but threw a poor red zone interception (which should have been called back for defensive pass interference). His quarterback rating was only 83.7. But when it counted, when his team needed him most, he converted a 3rd and 14 through sheer will. He then backed that up with a rushing touchdown and basically sealed the deal. Ezekiel Elliott just did his thing. His “I’m going to get mine” thing. 26 carries for 137 yards and one touchdown. A 5.3 yards per carry average. Four catches for 32 yards. All together, that’s 30 touches for 169 yards from scrimmage. Let’s just get this out of the way, Zeke is the premier back in the NFL, a do-it-all, physical-with-speed, run-catch-block, stud. Amari Cooper was the late addition to the party, The trade for him mid-season transformed the Cowboys offense. They now had a wide receiver who could create separation on anybody Dallas Cowboys Customized Jerseys , who could demand double-teams, and could take it to the house on any play. On Saturday night, he caught seven pass for 106 yards and was instrumental in setting up Cowboys points. No other Cowboy had over 32 yards receiving on the day. Cooper was the man, Seattle knew it, but couldn’t stop him.The new Triplets are a work in progress, they have so much to try and accomplish that it is almost a disservice to compare them to the old Triplets. Still, for one night, in the playoffs, they got the job done. Maybe it is just the beginning of something special.
