BRUSSELS Nathan Shepherd Youth Jersey , Dec. 14 (Xinhua) -- The European Parliament and theEuropean Council on Thursday reached a provisional agreement onaccounting of emissions from land use, land use change and forestry(LULUCF).


According to an official news release, this would help implementthe European Union's (EU) 2030 climate objectives which form partof the EU's policy to drive Europe's transition to a modern andclean economy.


The regulation on land use, land use change and forestry willincorporate greenhouse gas emissions and removals related toagricultural land and forestry into the EU's climate framework from2021, said the release.


This provisional agreement must be formally approved by theParliament and Council of Ministers. Following the approval, itwill be published in the EU's Official Journal and enters intoeffect 20 days later, according to the release.


Land use and forestry include the use of soils, trees Joe Namath Womens Jersey , plants,biomass and timber, which emits greenhouse gases but also serves toremove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.


According to official figures, the EU forests absorb theequivalent of nearly 10 percent of the bloc's greenhouse gasemissions each year.


The proposal for LULUCF was presented by the European Commissionon July 20, 2016 as part of the "Driving Europe's transition to alow-carbon economy" package, while the EU 2030 climate and energyframework was adopted at the October 2014 European Council, withthe aim of reducing the bloc's greenhouse gas emissions by 40percent by 2030 compared to 1990 levels. ACCRA, April 20 (Xinhua) -- Two persons were shot dead while two others were injured in Ghana following renewed communal clash at Nkonya ArDarius Stewart Womens Jersey , a town in the Volta Region located some 226 km east of the national capital, the police said here Thursday.


Chief Superintendent Prosper Ahwirigya, Kpando Divisional Police Commander, told the media the incident occurred between 7 and 8 pm on Wednesday, April 19.
