Since its introduction in 1985, the Buy Reebok has been a masterful model of simplicity: a versatile, clean silhouette that can be worn by anyone from a suburban dad to a skater. Now, New Jersey-based Packer Shoes is nodding to the Club C’s accommodating nature with their new, ultra-premium “Marcial” iteration of the classic aerobic sneaker. Made to be a shoe that “anyone can wear and look good doing it,” Packer has dressed the classic pair of Reeboks in a rich cream tumbled leather and added an updated twist to the lacing system, while accents arrive via a gradient-style tongue patch and a hit of bold green on the heel.
The Reebok on Sale continues to be a favorite collaborative silhouette for Japanese brands. After atmos lent their touch to a black/volt pair earlier this summer Mita Sneakers and Winiche Co—a renowned vintage retailer with their own clothing line—have joined forces for a striking take on the classic sneaker, complete with a bold elastic band. The shoe’s upper arrives in a combination of volt and black, while reflective accents adorn the lacing system, tongue and heel.
Originally released in 1993 and designed by Christian Tresser—the man who also created the legendary Air Max 97—the shoe features a bold upper, with asymmetrical suede overlays and mesh underlays, quintessential Purchase Reebok design touches from the 90s. Originally intended to be a trail running shoe, the Aztrek also features Hexlite cushioning and a rugged studded outsole. Returing in both a teal/white/black and a blue/rose/white, the shoe gives off retro vibes that translate perfectly to today’s sneaker climate.
After reintroducing their classic DMX Daytona running shoe recently, Reebok is dipping into their extensive archives once again, this time to re-introduce the 3D Opus. Reebok Shoes A unique basketball-inspired running silhouette originally released in 1998, the Opus has been given a modern day update via a 3D Ultralight sole which offers a lighter feel and more comfortable ride without sacrificing any of the shoe’s retro styling.
The Reebok Men's/Women's, a gem of a runner from 1992, is poised to make another return in 2019 in the form of original colorways and limited edition collaborations. Today, we get a first look at one of the latter – an upcoming release with NYC-based menswear brand Adsum. This design opts for a sporty blue and citron green accents against a more “vintage”-esque pairing of cream suede and white mesh, while Adsum branding replaces the Reebok logos on the tongue and the heel.
