Sosa shares his final mock draft of the season. Could the Rams’ coup in the 2019 NFL Draft look anything alike?"We’ve made it. We’re now just one sleep away from the kickoff of the 2019 NFL Draft Cheap Greg Gaines Jersey , and that means my final mock draft of the season comes at you today. It’ll be hard to project what the Los Angeles Rams might plan to do, so that’s not what I’m attempting here, I’ve already attempted that in the past. This mock will simply be a “what I’d do” if I were the General Manager situation. With that being said, let’s jump into it.Here are the current picks the Rams own in the draft:2019 NFL Draft LA Rams OrderRd#Rd#PickPlayerPOSSchoolRd#Rd#PickPlayerPOSSchoolTRADE: The Los Angeles Rams trade pick #31 (first-rounder) to the Indianapolis Colts for pick #34 (second-rounder) and pick #130 (fourth-rounder).2.34 - Erik McCoy, C, Texas A&M AggiesThe Rams go out and ensure there isn’t any dropoff when it comes to the offensive line. McCoy is a stud who fits the zone blocking scheme perfectly. McCoy’s skill-set and talent allows him to be a day one starter at the NFL level. His anchor and ability to climb to the second level prove he’s a perfect fit at center for Run Game Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach Aaron Kromer.3.94 - Sean Bunting, CB, Central Michigan ChippewasIf you’re looking for a press-man corner who bullies wide receivers at the line of scrimmage, Bunting is your guy. Luckily for Bunting, he wont be pressed into starting duty, though he will get to learn behind one of the best cornerbacks of the past decade in Aqib Talib. Bunting is a high IQ player with ball skills, strong jam skills, the ability to cover receivers effectively, and knows how to use the sidelines effectively.3.99 - Jachai Polite, EDGE Custom Greg Gaines Jersey , Florida GatorsA lot of people soured on Polite quite quickly after his awful combine performance. First, apparently his interviews went bad. Second, he ran a slow forty at 4.84. Third, he reportedly “faked” an injury and missed the remaining drills. Well, even with all that being said, he’s a fantastic football player. Matter of fact, the bad combine is going to prove to be a blessing in disguise because it’s not often you get such a quality pass rusher this late in the draft, though the Rams could have a shot at Polite because of the combine fiasco. Not only that, but Polite mentioned that the Rams were by far his best interview.4.130 - Sheldrick Redwine, S, Miami HurricanesAwesome tackler and very physical player who makes sure ball carriers feel him. Versatility allowed him to play nickel, cover-2, single-high, sub-package LB, and in the box as a strong safety. Excellent at chasing down ball carriers and securing tackles. Just has a nose for the football. Takes solid angles to track down ball carriers. Would love to see more consistency in coverage Greg Gaines Los Angeles Rams Jerseys , generally allowed easy completions on slants though his quick breaks on the ball and physicality allowed him to jar some catches loose. Can blitz. Has ball skills.4.133 - Bobby Evans, OT, Oklahoma SoonersEvans is an experienced college tackle who played on both sides of the offensive line. His size may force him inside in the NFL, but regardless, he’s a strong offensive lineman who possesses a nasty attitude with the ability to finish blocks. Evans would be another fun project for Aaron Kromer to work with.5.169 - Gary Johnson, ILB, Texas LonghornsJohnson is an extremely fast and productive linebacker who has the versatility to play the run and blitz just as effectively. Johnson moves at a different speed than everyone else on the field, making himself useful as a depth player and a special teams weapon right out of the gate.6.203 - Daylon Mack, DT, Texas A&M AggiesDaylon Mack is exactly the type of player you want at this stage in the draft. He’s limited as he’s not a great athlete nor does he offer a ton of pass rush juice, but he’s a quality run-stuffing defensive tackle who can operate in multiple spots on the defensive line. Mack’s go-to move as a pass-rusher is the bull-rush which can effectively push offensive lineman into the quarterbacks lap. Against the run, he’s a load to move and routinely uses his hands effectively. He’s strong at the point-of-attack and he can stack-and-shed effectively. Mack would be a great option to help stop the run and occasionally rush the passer.7.245 - Myles Gaskin, RB, Washington HuskiesWhether or not the Rams decide to take an RB in this draft, it’d likely make sense to throw a dart on the board with a late pick. Gaskin was a highly productive college player who possesses quick feet and elusiveness in the open field to create his own yardage. Can’t complain with a guy who has an NFL role with this pick. The week 10 matchup for the Los Angeles Rams that took them to Pittsburgh to play the Steelers was a game that seemed winnable Los Angeles Rams Jerseys Stitched , even though they were never really in control. With a LA Rams team that failed score an offensive touchdown, it’s hard to point the blame elsewhere. This was a failure on the offense with some nitpicks to the other sides of the team. And now the regular season has a much darker tone. That’s no his game, so it’s hard to grade him harshly. He’s not QB Lamar Jackson. Instead, Goff just didn’t have it. His throws were ill-advised on some occasions, leading to multiple interceptions and even a possession-ending bomb to WR Josh Reynolds with less than two minutes in the game. This performance is solid evidence that Goff has regressed big-time. I would argue that Goff still has the chance to be the franchise QB for the Rams, but this game Is really shatters that argument. Woof.Running BackC+The whole narrative with RB Todd Gurley II is so mysterious and exhausting that it was just a relief to see the guy out on the grass, being productive. The team had 88 yards rushing, which isn’t fantastic, but it’s fine. Gurley was fine. They needed more on Sunday, sadly.Wide ReceiversCThis is the unit that almost always scores a great grade from me. And while WR Robert Woods provided some excellent stats with 95 yards off 7 catches, the big story was the goose egg that was handed to WR Cooper Kupp. Reynolds was a pretty good as a replacement to WR Brandin Cooks, but overall, the pass catchers couldn’t get enough separation. Tight EndsB+TE Gerald Everett keeps knocking on the door as a go-to guy for the LA Rams and Sunday’s performance in Pittsburge was another example. Though he didn’t get into the end zone, the big target showed up in the fourth quarter and was able to raise the hopes of the Ramily before Goff smashed it to pieces with his tiny hands.Offensive LineDThey aren’t getting a failing grade because Jared Goff is still alive and the running attack was somewhat successful. But man oh man did they struggle. And the penalties! This is a unit that has switched around so much that it’s almost impossible to know who’s lining up next to who. OL Austin Blythe gets proving that he’s a backup and not a starter, getting penalties right when the team needs a break. The Rams could have won this game if the offensive line played better Greg Gaines Jersey nfl draft , but that was not the case.Defensive LineB+The Steelers were held to 42 yards rushing and DE Aaron Donald had a monster game, grabbing a safety that could have been the turning point in the game. I could have liked to see more pressure on QB Mason Rudolph during the game, but overall they were pretty solid as a unit.LinebackersA-While Rudolph had way too much time to make his passes, it’s hard to ding this unit too much when ILB Cory Littleton turned in such an amazing performance. 14 tackles and a forced fumble! OLB Dante Fowler Jr. is a guy that is great in fits and starts, but I’ll take it. It was great to see LB Clay Matthews on the field again. This unit isn’t the problem even though they seemed destined to struggle in the offseason. Defensive BacksC+The secondary of the Steelers was so effective that it made the LA Rams secondary look like a bunch of collegiate players. CB Jalen Ramsey needed to be the man, but instead the receivers for the Steelers were running all over the field and WR James Washington had a career day. Special TeamsBThis was hard because there were so many aspect to special teams. WR Jojo Natson had a nice return near the end of the game, P Johnny Hekker’s interception was rough, but then he pinned the Steelers within the five yard line that led to a safety — a mixed bag. Granted, the special teams didn’t lose the game for the Rams, but they could have been better. CoachingC-The play calling was extremely frustrating for fans that it's hard to tell if the problems were due to his offensive scheme or his lack of confidence in the offensive line. Regardless, his decision to go for a fake punt didn’t work out for him and his tendency to keep pushing the passing attack was another issue that he’ll be thinking about this week.RefsFA bunch of jerks, those referees. Jerks, I tell you!
