In this week's ADIDAS FLUX edition of Buy, Pass, Wait , where the Kicks On Fire staff convenes to talk about the weekend's big releases and beyond, we've got the obligatory chatter about the weekly Air Jordan retro to drop, but then we switch it up to talk about which Mambacurial Kobe we would go for, the appeal of the blackout style in a popular adidas trainer and much more.

But we've still got a handful of releases that you might be interested in that's dropping on Saturday on we're celebrating Chinese New Year the same way we always do, s, Wait.EIC Juan: (MUST BUY) Ah f**k, a white, black, and gold shoe. I would also totally accept a flip-flop of the color blocking and if adidas is planning on doing something like that down the line, I will be trying to cop that ADIDAS ZX FLUX as well.

How do you undermine the release of one of the most popular Air Jordans of all time? In 2016, the answer to that would have been "drop a Yeezy" on the same weekend. But thanks to a super limited release of a model that is starting ZX FLUX to gain in popularity in the Air Jordan XX3, it looks like some sneakerheads might be distracted on their way to the Flu Game 12s. That's good news for those who only want the Flu Games, but if you live overseas, you might see that your options are a little tougher, as two highly anticipated adidas NMDs are dropping (or have dropped depending on when you read this) as well.

Andres: (Pass) It's cool to see adidas bring back this retro runner. It seems like many people will embrace the shoe more than they ADIDAS NEMEZIZ did back when it originally released. I think it looks decent but I just don't like the tonal colorway. Hopefully more colors are released in the future.Anyways, we now live in an era where D-Wade is getting close to middle age, Shaq is celebrating the 25th anniversary of his first signature shoe, the Air Jordan 13 Black Cat is coming back (again) and adidas is the hottest thing in the planet right now. It's different times, indeed.

And the Kicks On Fire staff is here to help you sort through this weekend's biggest drops and share we think about them because if we're going to write about these kicks all week long, you might as well know how we really really feel.adidas did their thing with the collection, but the Harden pair looks the best in my opinion. The Black and Grey print on the knit upper gives the shoe a fresh new look. I've yet to try on a pair of Hardens, but if they're good as advertised these would be the one's I'd get.

EIC Juan: (BUY) I want that ADIDAS R1 Core Black colorway with white heel patch and I'm holding out hope that a local mall still has a size 11 lurking in the back somewhere. I won't lose sleep if I don't grab a pair since I have the first NMD PK but it would be nice to see adidas make even more pairs now that they realize they have a potentially huge mainstream hit on their hands.Andres: (PASS) With so many other sneakers that I would "like" to buy this weekend both of these adidas Basketball sneakers just don't grasp my attention. I'll pass easily on both pairs.
