Personally, I think the names we're given are anglicized according to The Lord of the Rings (see The Lord of the Rings Appendix 6); in the previous book there was a change in the Numenorean name Kalimac was changed to Meriadoc. The name Meriadoc has the same feel to the ears of those who speak English as Kalimac's nickname "Kali". The characters of Gielinor have names that are familiar to them, instead of their Gielinorian counterparts.
What do you think, both technologically and name-wise regarding Runescape anachronism? By the way, while I dislike anachronism, prefer a Dark Ages-esque setting and dislike real-world names within the fantasy world, this article isn't about those issues, but rather an attempt to have an open discussion about them.
So I was looking for some random information and came across this site. It seemed to be akin to me a lot, and it struck me difficult. I didn't stop playing Runescape after having read the article, however I need to keep my limitations in mind. Wow... According to this man the guy plays an average of 10 hours per days. This is a lot, even for me. I'm not sure if he's exaggerating or not. (Can anyone really be that active for so many weeks? Sorry for my english. It's not my first language.
I'm now 19 years old and I played continuously between the ages of 15 and 18. I devoted 3 years of my life playing this DEVIL game. I played 5-18 hours playing every single day, and never went without it for three years. 3000 x 365 = 3.x 10 = 10.000 hours of runescape play 10'000 times the 6.5$ minimum wage equals 50'000$
