Ulysse Nardin Marine Observatory Review Ulysse Nardin Marine Observatory watches are natural navigators on the world's oceans.
How marine chronometers shaped watch brands The shipping industry is deeply rooted in Ulysse Nardin’s history. This Swiss brand was founded in 1846 by the watchmaker of the same name. Even today, the anchor in the logo recalls those glorious times. At the same time, after several ownership changes, Ulysse Nardin is part of the French luxury goods group Kering (Gucci, Balenciaga, Yves Saint Laurent, also represented in the watch industry by Girard-Perregaux).

luxury timepieces Lots of! That was my first thought when I removed the protective film from the Ulysse Nardin Marine Observatory (which is part of Horando's latest collection of watches) and turned it around in my hands. There is no doubt that the power displayed by the watch leaves a lasting impression. An elegant white dial with a blue dial and a sporty stainless steel case. This in turn translates into an interesting strap lug design, to which a blue rubberized leather strap is attached. Two totalizers reminiscent of measuring instruments are the small seconds and the practical power reserve indicator.
This Ulysse Nardin marine chronometer watch was manufactured in 2021 and is brand new. As you would expect from Horando, the scope of delivery includes not only the watch but also important original documents such as the original box and warranty card.
