New Champion series offers high frequency memory support. If you're in the market for a motherboard upgrade, new boards from GIGABYTE could be just what the (PC) doctor ordered. The component manufacturer announced four new Champion series boards late last week, with something in the range for everyone. At the lower end of the range is the GA-X99-UD3P board, which is the baseline for the entire series. Here's it's spec list: Supports New Intel® Core™ i7 Processor Extreme Edition · 4 DIMMs DDR4 3200MHz with Intel® XMP · Genuine All Digital Power Design with IR Digital PWM & IR PowIRstage ICs · 4-Way Graphics with Premium PCIe Lane · Dual M. 2 Technology for SSD Drive and WIFI card · Realtek ALC1150 115dB SNR HD audio with built-in Rear Audio Amplifier · Independent Right and Left Audio Channel PCB Layers · High end Nichicon audio capacitors · LED lighting for the audio guard light path · All Stainless steel connectors on rear panel · SATA Express support for up to 10 Gb/s data transfer · GIGABYTE UEFI DualBIOS with Q-Flash Plus USB port · Long lifespan Durable Black Solid caps · APP Center including EasyTune™ and Cloud Station™ utilities · Thunderbolt Ready · Safer design around screw mounting holes The high frequency DDR4 support is the keystone for the entire range, along with all the other usual features of recent GIGABYTE releases, such as the excellent on board audio support. We've had that demonstrated to us on a number of occasions and it really is solid. The next board up, the GA-X99-UD4P expands the RAM slots to an impressive eight, cheap runescape gold and adds in even fancier lighting to the rather speccy LED onboard lighting, with a separate back-panel LEDs as well.yfhwfw321
For an even more fully-featured board, it's hard to go past the GA-X99-gaming 5P mobo. Thankfully, GIGABYTE's ditched the rather over the top fake guns and bling of the Assassin range, instead settling on a no less aggressive, but far more restrained, black and red design. In terms of extra features the Realtek chip is replaced by a Creative Sound Core3D processor, alongside GIGABYTE's upgradeable AMP-UP technology, quad DAC-UP USB ports, gold-plated audio ports, and Killer E2200 networking chip.
