EA Sports released a massive new patch for Madden NFL 18 this week that added new attributes and created tweaks and adjustments for the game's numerous modes. One of the topline priorities was to address the lag inside the Franchise mode. Since it turns out, this patch truly produced issues worse in this division for some, and now EA has put out a different patch that removes the earlier repair.
So it really is back to exactly where points have been before, but EA is has pledged to continue to operate around the problem till it's resolved.
