All four models in the collection are inspired by 1970’s style, which of course featured the iconic shoe. The collection includes two Chuck Taylor Hi’s, one red and one blue, and two Chuck Taylor Low colorways, one tan and one blue. All four new colorways utilize washed canvas on the upper and a yellowed midsole to truly evoke the 70’s feel. All four shoes also sport blue and red piping on the midsole and unique red, white and blue branding on the insole.
The converse cons x Chocolate collection includes a One Star and two Chuck Taylor All Star high tops all with an upper made of 100-percent recycled poly cotton canvas upper. The footwear also features innovative skate technology, including CONS traction rubber for increased grip and durability, a rubber overlay as well as a Lunarlon sockliner for enhanced cushioning and maximum comfort.The Converse Cons x Chocolate collection features original artwork from Evan Hecox, former art director and long-time contributor for Chocolate Skateboards. The art on the collection was pulled from one of Kenny's favorite old board graphics from Evan's simple life series.
Minimalists, rejoice – Vans has just released its classic vans old skools silhouette in two shades of pastel pink. Its “Pearl” base is accented with “Mahogany Rose” detailing on the Formstripe, laces and midsole. The brand’s new millennial pink shirt made in collaboration with ASOS would complement this silhouette well. The long-sleeved tee is stamped with the red Vans logo in white outlining to match the shoe’s sock liner.
