DOHA, Dec. 9 (Xinhua) -- Smaller countries have been encouraged to host smaller sports events by sports ministers and representatives of sports bodies from over 20 countries and regions at the Doha Goals on Monday.


A statement was published after the Ministers of Summit at the Doha Goals, the world's leading platform focusing on sport as a driver of social and economic change, also calling public policy makers to invest more in sports facilities.
