Free agent quarterbacks worth considering for the Buffalo Bills W

ith multiple reports stating that AJ McCarron broke his collarbone against the Cleveland Browns on Friday night Youth Tremaine Edmunds Jersey , the Buffalo Bills may be in the market for a free agent quarterback. Chances are that McCarron could return this season, but the Bills will likely want a third quarterback for the remainder of the preseason. If the Bills choose to start the regular season with two healthy quarterbacks, it would make sense to add another arm to help them navigate the remainder of the preseason. While there are plenty of free agents available, there are a few that have specific ties to Sean McDermott, Brandon Beane, and Brian Daboll.T.J. YatesFans will remember that Yates was a backup for the Bills during the 2017 preseason, before reaching a settlement after going on injured reserve. Yates would fit the description as a serviceable backup who could come into Buffalo for an audition. He has been around the franchise in the past, albeit under offensive coordinator Rick Dennison.Derek AndersonThe 35-year old quarterback was the longtime backup for the Carolina Panthers, making his name an obvious fit based on his history with McDermott and Beane. It will be interesting to see if Anderson is interested in what could be a relatively short-term assignment throughout the remainder of the preseason. A job in Buffalo could provide the opportunity to audition for other NFL teams should Anderson be looking to continue his career. A player with his experience would also provide a veteran’s perspective for youngsters Nathan Peterman and Josh Allen.Matt MooreMoore spent the 2011 season with Daboll as his offensive coordinator with the Miami Dolphins,which is enough of a connection that this signing could make the most sense. While that was seven seasons ago, it would not be a surprise if the Bills considered Moore as an option.Other quarterbacks that the Bills may also consider could include Kellen Clemens, Mark Sanchez, Josh Johnson, and Scott Tolzien.
