The Air Jordan 13 Low was first seen in 2005 with leather and then retroed in 2010 but with a mesh upper. This year, the sneaker is back to its original leather makeup for Jordan Brand’s Holiday 2017 lineup. Simply just like its OG version, the shoe features a full black leather upper with a textured overlay on the sides and heels. The holographic logo on the heel and green outsole completes the classic style altogether.
The Air Jordan 13 Black Pack reflects on the love and respect that Michael Jordan had for the game of basketball when saying goodbye. The set looks to be a China-exclusive release and featured from the pack is the men’s white/black pair. The sneaker features reflective letters of the words love and respect all throughout the medial side and heel, while more “Love” and “Respect” details are seen in red on the bottom section of the tongues.
The Air Jordan 13 Womens will be returning in true OG form as the shoe is constructed out of a black leather all throughout the upper with subtle Altitude Green accents on the Jumpman branding on the tongue, the “JORDAN” branding on the bottom of the tongue, and the rubber outsole. Stingray texture detailing is also present on the mudguard and ankle.
Unlike the original 1998 and 2004 versions, the 2013 iteration of the Air Jordan 13 Cap And Gown did not feature reflective detailing on its mesh side panels. Many sneaker enthusiasts were disappointed by the oversight, but the classic kicks are now set to return in their true form. This Air Jordan 13 features a mixed-material upper that combines a black tumbled leather toe and tongue with mesh paneling and vivid red suede underlays that extend to the shoe’s midsole for a premium touch. Other signature components include a holographic badge near the heel and a supportive carbon fiber shank underfoot.
